WTF-Wine,Tapas, and Fun

WTF
Wine,Tapas, and Fun
G/F, 9 Elgin Street, Soho, Central

WTF is a Westerns Spanish wine tapas bar located just off Hollywood road in Soho, Central, Hong Kong.  If you love tapas and love a quite place to sit with friends  drink beer or wine, smoke hookah and listen to music then this is the place for you.

If atmosphere, small tapas and place to talk to people is for you then WTF is the place for you. My friends and I make our way over to this establishment probably 4/5 times a month sometimes more.

What we especially love about the restaurant/bar are the following things
        1. Atmosphere
        2. The people that work there
        3. The fact that we can sit and talk without having to yell to hear each other
        4. The hookah and the late night bar snacks menu (especially the nachos)

Some of my favorite items at the restaurant include the following dishes
       1. Croquetas De Jamon
       2. The meats platter
       3. The chicken
       4. The nachos (Bar menu)

Overall review I would give this restaurant 4.5/5 ****.*
PROS
1. Atmosphere
2. Overall good Food
3. Great music at a good volume
4. Good Owner and waiters/waitresses

CONS
1. Small in size

So next time you are looking for somewhere to go for a drink and something small to eat and share with others or looking to smoke some hooka then check out WTF!

The Roundhouse

The Roundhouse

Located at G/F 62 Peel Street, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong

1. Are you someone that loves Texas Barbecue?
2. Do you enjoy endless craft beers on draft??

If you answered "YES" to either of the above questions then you should check out The Roundhouse. The restaurant bar has 25 craft beers on tap along with a yummy array of Texas BBQ to complete the beer.

The menu has such main items as
1. Pulled Pork
2. Brisket
3. Sausage

They also have a bar (snack) menu
1. Texas Cheese
2. Pigs in a blanket
3. Fried Pickles

I had the pleasure of visiting the restaurant for the first time a week ago.  In fact I was reading sassyhongkong.com and came across an article titled Top 10 new bars/restaurants for January in Hong Kong and this restaurant and bar was mentioned . What caught my attention  is being from the states and being able to have authentic Texas BBQ in Hong Kong is the best and its conveniently located within walking distance of my house.

Some of the items I ordered at the restaurant included the following for starters Texas Cheese and Pigs in a blanket and then for the main my Dad and I who came with me split the Pulled Pork and Brisket.
          1. The Texas Cheese: was in my opinion not worth ordering could have done without this dish tasted bland in my opinion.
          2. Pigs in a blanket: Were amazing, great flavor and perfect size for a starter or a single dish if you just want a snack while having a few beers during happy hour.
          3. Pulled Pork: Great Flavors and great taste would order this again next time and went well with the BBQ sauce.
          4.  Brisket:  I was disappointed with this, not to say that it wasn't good, but it could have used extra flavoring

Something else I ordered which was cool was the Beer Taster plank. It has six different taster size beers of the signature beers and for those that love wine like my dad they also offered decent wine.

Overall review I would give this restaurant 3/5 ***
PROS
1. Atmosphere
2. Overall good Food
3. Great drink choices and many options for beers

CONS
